I found this vintage slip a few years ago at the Rat's Nest in NoDa and it's become the perfect layering piece for my summer wardrobe. It's like a loose fitting tank top for the entire body, perfect for the sweltering heat we're facing in the coming months. I like to utilize the slip as a base to layer upon with see-through beach cover-ups, lace tops, concert tees, summer knits and every now and then a festive kimono. The lace trim gives each outfit a feminine touch and it can easily be dressed up or down. I'm confident you can find a similar piece at a vintage store near you! I promise it's money well spent and I bet you could find one for $10 just like I did at the Nest.
